After The Cheltenham and Aintree festivals are over, all eyes in the horse racing world will be on The Lady Dudley Cup, which will be the centrepiece of the Worcestershire Point to Point held at Chaddesley Corbett on Saturday 21st April 2018.
This is the biggest day in the amateur jockey’s calendar, Horses from the length and breadth of the British Isles descend upon this small Worcestershire village. Over 10,000 spectators come to watch this Classic race for Amateur riders, over three miles plus and 18 Steeplechase fences. The Lady Dudley Cup is the men’s open race, and there are at least 6 other races to enjoy. The first race is 2pm.
Set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, everybody takes something different from their day at the races; families enjoying a picnic at the back of their car, the hardened race goers searching for that illusive winner, and people just enjoying one of our few traditional days left in this modern world!
