Volunteers at Work

Sunday 15th January Chaddesley Corbett Racecourse

On Sunday morning the gallant volunteers turned out in the freezing cold to tread in and fill holes on the course at Chaddesley Corbett following the Harkaway Club Point-to-Point.

The course was harrowed before we left on Tuesday 27th December and rolled the next morning. Fortunately we had some rain that helped settle the ground back from the 119 runners.

A load of soil was used and a lot of manual graft with buckets and trowels as our pictures show.
